Daily Tip: Our friend and foe is Time. Guard your time, since it is your life!

"For every minute spent in organizing, an hour is earned.”

Men talk of killing time, while time quietly kills them. ~Dion Boucicault

"Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.”

Time goes, you say? Ah no!
Alas, Time stays, we go. ~Henry Austin Dobson

Some things we own and do, rob us of our time.  Since they say, time is life, perhaps it is wise to prevent these time killers from swallowing up our life.
It pays to take time to think about the electronic devices, interruptions and distractions that keep us from enjoying our time here on earth.  There is the TV, a sendentary escape.  The computer, a mezmerizing offender.  The telephone, an alluring diversion.
For me it's shopping and eating.
I know.  Everyone has their vices.  You can spend your life doing whatever you feel like.
It's your life.  However, think about your long-term goal.  How do you want to see yourself a few years from now?
Do you want to be a couch potato, and join the masses of the obese living a sedentary life?
Do you want to feel vital, alive and fit and full of vigor a few years from now?
It all depends on what you do with your time today!
Regardless of what we do, the sad fact is time marches on.
Let's think about the killer time, and it's minions, electronic and time-gobbling distractions.  Let's examine and decide how to manage ourselves with the things, or activities that rob us of what is so precious, and cannot be bought back with silver or gold, that is, our friend and foe, Time.
Peace,
