There is no way a person can give credit to everyone who has inspired him or her, and sometimes it is hard to avoid making it seem like you are copying someone, especially if you are inspired by that person. The best thing we can all do is to strive to be as original as we can. If something strikes a familiar chord with us, or the information has been given to us freely, it is no shame if we relate that to others, neverthless, it is best either to give credit to the author, or else keep quiet. The best thing of course, is to listen to your inner muse and march to the beat of your own drummer, however, keep your own drummer in check if he or she works against your best interests.
